LiFePO4: why this technology is considered one of the best among lithium batteries
Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) are distinguished by a number of key advantages:
- Extraordinary service life. Such batteries are able to withstand significantly more charge-discharge cycles than analogues without significant loss of capacity.
- Safety and cleanliness for the environment. Due to its high thermal and chemical stability, LiFePO4 does not contain toxic metals - cadmium, lead or cobalt.
- Resistance to high loads. Such batteries work perfectly together with powerful energy consumers.
- Wide temperature range. They are better adapted to difficult climatic conditions, including frost, than many competitors.
Added to this are all the classic advantages of lithium batteries: no memory effect, minimal self-discharge, the ability to withstand deep discharge (over 90%) and rapid capacity recovery - unlike the same AGM batteries.
