OEM products
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is a product that is manufactured by the same factory as well-known branded products, but without marketing markups, branded packaging and logo.
This category includes OEM versions of products - these are original components and devices that are supplied in a minimal technical configuration (without "gifts", boxes with color printing and unnecessary accessories). You pay only for the device itself, and not for its "packaging" and hyped name
What is OEM in simple words?
- Imagine that a well-known brand orders a batch of inverters or BMS from a large factory in China. The factory produces these devices, puts the customer's logo on them, packs them in a beautiful box - and the product gets on the shelf with a price tag that includes advertising costs, logistics, warranty and the "name" of the brand.
An OEM version is the same device, from the same factory, with the same parts, but without the intermediary logo and without the "paper" packaging. It is sold directly from the manufacturer or through distribution channels that do not pay gigantic marketing budgets. As a result, you get similar quality at a price 10-40% lower
