The JK BMS LCD 2.0 is a specialized visual control panel for battery packs operating in conjunction with JK BMS controllers. The device provides a complete picture of the status of each cell in real time. A key limitation: the display is compatible exclusively with JiKong (JK) brand BMS; data exchange protocols with products from other manufacturers are not supported.
Ergonomics and Control
A touch-sensitive button on the side of the housing performs several functions:
- Brightness control and backlight on/off.
- Remotely turns the JiKong battery management system (BMS) on and off.
Displayed Information (Control Panel)
The display provides the following key parameters for complete situational awareness:
- State of Charge (SOC) – current battery charge level in percent.
- Total battery voltage.
- Instantaneous current (charge/discharge).
- BMS error status – indicates any detected faults or deviations.
Application areas
The device is optimized for portable and backup equipment:
- Electric bicycles and electric scooters.
- Cordless power tools.
- Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and other equipment.
Operating instructions (operating algorithm)
BMS activation: Tap the touch key on the left edge of the display once. The system will start.
Automatic backlight off (power saving): If the BMS detects no current in the load or charging circuit for 10 seconds, the screen backlight automatically dims to minimize power consumption.
Manual backlight control:
- When the screen is dark (but the BMS is active), a short press of the left button will turn on the backlight.
- When the display is active, a short press of the same button will immediately turn off the backlight.
- Complete BMS shutdown: Press and hold the touch button for 2 seconds. The battery controller will be completely de-energized.
