How to choose the power?
Calculate what you turn on at the same time during the outage.
Example (typical apartment):
- Refrigerator - 150-300 W
- TV - 100-200 W
- Router + laptop - 50-100 W
- Several light bulbs - 50 W
- Microwave (if necessary) - 700-1000 W
The amount you get is the minimum power of your inverter. Take it with a margin of 20-30%.
Why is it important to know the outage schedule?
For example: there is no light for 8 hours, and there is only 2 hours.
During these 2 hours, the battery MUST HAVE TIME TO FULLY CHARGE, otherwise you will not have enough for the next 8 hours.
- AGM and GEL charge slowly - they may not have time.
- LiFePO₄ charges 2-4 times faster - it can even take 2 hours.
If the windows provide light for 2-3 hours - you need LiFePO₄.
